Scribe
Scribe is a self-organizing group messaging protocol for Pastry networks. Nodes subscribe to Scribe "topics", which can be used for efficient multicast (send a message to everyone in the group) and anycast (send a message to someone arbitrary in the group). FeedTree uses Scribe to distribute news feed entries among cooperating nodes.
