Liferea Proxy Setup
Liferea (a "LInux FEed REAder") is an RSS and Atom feed reader for Linux, Solaris, FreeBSD, and Mac OS X.
Proxy setup instructions (abbreviated)
The preferences dialog has a Proxy tab that allows you to configure Liferea to use your local FeedTreeProxy.
You can also configure Liferea to poll feeds much more frequently (since all requests will be intercepted by your local proxy):
